The United Check Card looks like a credit card, but it's not. It takes money directly from your United checking account. The United Check Card is welcomed everywhere VISA debit cards are accepted, worldwide. So you can use The United Check Card wherever you'd typically write a check. Better still, use it where you typically couldn't. Like at most restaurants. Gas stations. Or whenever you're out of town. Or even out of the country. Your purchase will be handled just like any credit card transaction except the money will be deducted from your United checking account.
The United Check Card doubles as your ATM card. So for your convenience, you only need one card. Use it to get cash instantly from any ATM whose logo is displayed on your Check Card.

A magnetically encoded plastic card and a personal identification number (PIN) permit customers to make deposits, withdraw cash, transfer funds between accounts, and inquire about account balances. Cardholders have nationwide access through the CIRRUS Network.
You will have access to nearly 224,000 STAR ATM Machines. In addition, you can use your ATM card in more than 800,000 CIRRUS locations in 66 countries and territories.

For Your Convenience, PIN Change is available at United ATMs.
This new feature allows United ATM and Check Card holders the convenience and flexibility to change your PIN any time!
All you have to do is:
- Insert your card at a United Bank ATM and enter the original PIN.
- The next screen that appears will have an option to “Change PIN”.
- Select “Change PIN” and enter your new PIN.
- A prompt will ask you to re-enter your new PIN.
Only one successful PIN change will be allowed in a 24-hour period.
This service is not available at United Bank off-premise ATMs.
